We understand that completing your personal care needs and routine can be difficult in your golden years. This is why we provide you with ways and other forms of assistance to ease the challenges that come with this.
We can provide assistance in the following:
Eating
We provide assistance with eating from cuing, reminding, cutting up, monitoring, hands-on assistance to eating or handling food/drink, to total dependent feeding assistance with all foods/fluids. We also provide therapeutic diets, diabetic diets, mechanical-altered and adaptive equipment.
Toileting
We provide assistance with toileting from setting up, monitoring, encouragement, cuing, assistance with cleansing, using care pads and clothing, and/or standby assistance for transfer for total assistance for all toileting tasks. We also provide assistance with catheter and ostomy care on a case by case basis.
Walking
We provide assistance with walking using assistive devices such as wheelchairs, stand-by assistance for safety and cuing and monitoring, and one person assistance to bedbound residents.
Transferring
We provide assistance with transferring for stand-by for safety, encouragement or cuing, hands-on guiding, one person assistance in mechanical lifting using Hoyer gait belts.
Positioning
We provide assistance with positioning for stand-by for safety, cuing, monitoring or encouragement, repositioning intervals, and one person assistance.
Personal Hygiene
We may provide assistance with personal hygiene for setting-up, monitoring, encouragement and cuing, and hands-on assistance to guide through task completion to total assistance of all tasks.
Dressing
We may provide assistance with dressing for monitoring, encouragement, cuing, stepping out of clothing, putting in shoes, socks, and TED hose, tying or buttoning up, upper and lower body dressing, to total assistance.
Bathing
We may provide assistance with bathing for setting-up supplies, monitoring, encouragement and cuing, assistance in getting in/out of shower, partial assistance to total assistance in complete bathing, and bed baths, among others.
We can also provide:
Oral and denture care, supplies such as eyeglasses, hearing aids, bladder and bowel management, among others.
